What can I expect?

HOW LONG IS A NORTHCROSS CHURCH SERVICE?

In total, a Northcross Church service is about 75 minutes in length. Though it may vary from time to time, services generally begin with the Northcross band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. These songs are a mix of contemporary music and older hymns – click here to listen to the current playlist of songs we sing!

After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message from the Bible. We then fix our thoughts on Jesus through the consuming of bread and grape juice as we participate in The Lord’s Supper. This occurs weekly at the 10am service, and monthly at the 5:30pm service. For some circumstances, there may be occasional variations to this schedule.

At the end, we encourage everyone to stick around as we mingle over tea and coffee after the 10am service, or have dinner and dessert together in the café, after the 5:30pm service.

WHAT’S THE CULTURE LIKE AT NORTHCROSS CHURCH?

Sundays (& Wednesdays) at Northcross are warm, engaging, and relaxed. If you’re thinking about what is appropriate to wear, know that you are free and welcome to wear whatever you wish. Being a multicultural and multigenerational church, clothes on a Sunday can range from shorts and jandals to suits and ties. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest!

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week, and at Northcross, we make this a priority. We have something for kids from birth through to year 10. You’ll experience age-appropriate teaching, music, and fun activities. We have amazing staff and volunteers who will care for, and love your kids.

Your children’s safety is of utmost importance to us, so all our volunteers are police-vetted, and we have a check-in system to ensure every child is accounted for. So, if you have young kids, it would be wise to arrive 15 minutes early to get everyone checked-in and ready by 10am!

To begin with, kids join the adults in the main auditorium for singing. An announcement will be made for kids to leave to their respective areas, which will be facilitated and guided by children/youth ministry volunteers.
